CLARETH IGNITES SAINTS TO WIN OVER FAIRFIELD
Nico Clareth showed on Saturday night that when he's feeling it, he's one of the best young players in the MAAC. The Siena sophomore guard scored a career high 33 points in Siena's 80-73 win over Fairfield. Troy native Javion Ogunyemi had a big night with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Brett Bisping scored 8 points and grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds. Lavon Long chipped in with 13 points and boards, Marquis Wright had 9 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists. With the win the Saints are now 3-5 overall and 1-0 in the MAAC. Siena's next game is at Rider on Monday, 7pm.
