A week ago The Glens Falls Indians were getting ready to take on 3-time defending state champ Chenango Forks in the Class B State Title game at the Carrier Dome. On Friday, they were basking in the glory of their win over Chenango Forks. Players and coaches honored with a parade on Friday night through downtown Glens Falls. Thousands were on hand to celebrate the football teams 1st ever state title. The route took the down Sherman Ave., Bay Street, and Maple Ave, with a brief stop at City Park. There the team received a proclaimation from the mayor and then took part in the annual lighting of the tree ceremony. In case you forgot, the Indians beat Chenango Forks 47-39, in the Class B State Championship at the Carrier Dome to finish their season a perfect 13-0.
